South Africans have been left stunned after shocking allegations emerged against a foreign man believed to have posed as a pastor while allegedly targeting young Christian women in Gauteng.

The man, who social media users have dubbed the “Mzungu Pastor,” allegedly operated from a luxury Airbnb apartment in Johannesburg, where he reportedly invited women for what he claimed were overnight prayer and deliverance sessions.

According to reports circulating online, the suspect convinced dozens of women that he was a powerful man of God capable of changing their lives spiritually and financially. He allegedly promised some of the women business opportunities, miracle breakthroughs, and even assistance with relocating overseas.
Unsuspecting women reportedly flocked to the apartment seeking prayers and guidance, unaware that they were allegedly being manipulated.
The scandal took a darker turn after claims surfaced that the man secretly recorded private encounters with the women inside the Airbnb before allegedly leaking the videos online.
The disturbing allegations have sparked outrage across social media, with many South Africans expressing anger over the exploitation of vulnerable women through religion.
Some reports further claim that the women were given small amounts of money after the encounters, while others say the suspect used gifts and promises of a better future to gain their trust.
The videos, which are allegedly circulating on various online platforms, have since triggered widespread debate about fake pastors and religious scams in South Africa.
At the time of publication, authorities had not yet confirmed whether a formal criminal case had been opened, but social media users are calling for an urgent investigation into the matter.
