When Boitumelo arrived home, an argument allegedly broke out between the two, escalating rapidly into a violent confrontation.
During the altercation, the suspect is accused of assaulting Boitumelo before stabbing her multiple times. After the attack, he fled the scene, leaving her critically injured. Emergency services were called, and Boitumelo was rushed to hospital in a desperate attempt to save her life.
