The family of the late former Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa have resigned themselves to the fact that they may never have the opportunity to meet his daughter, who he had with afro-pop star Kelly Khumalo. Kelly’s daughter with Senzo was just a few months old when tragedy struck. Her father was brutally murdєred at her maternal grandmother’s home in Vosloorus back in October 2014.

Senzo’s family only met Thingo once when her father took her to her grandparents’ home in Umlazi, near Durban, with Kelly’s mother. A Meyiwa relative informed ZiMoja that Kelly was given space when she told the family she would not attend his funeral.
