Tamia Carvalho, an Instagram user, shared a story about her experience suffering from abuse by her boyfriend, Donell, on Instagram. She wrote in the post that Donell persuaded her to stay over when she was at his house when it got late. Tamia consented to spend the night at his house because she was also afraid of taking an Uber late.
The two began having sexual relations, to which she agreed but then changed her mind and told him no. However, Donell is claimed to have proceeded to force himself on her. Tamia claims she cried at one point, but he continued to assault her. The incident occurred again the next day, and Tamia first wanted to forgive it, but when she returned home, she informed her family and went to the hospital. Tamia stated that she underwent numerous tests and was prescribed medication to prevent diseases following exposure.
Tamia also exchanged messages with Donell, proving that she was violated. In the discussions, Donell accused her of abandoning him and attempted to gaslight her. Tamia reported that he had r*ped her and showed no signs of wanting to make changes. Donell said that he was attempting to change and that he was not proud of his behaviour. Donell, on the other hand, claimed that he couldn’t stop himself from complimenting her sexually.
Donell has a history of abusing his ex-girlfriends, one of whom has sued him in court. However, the lawsuit was dismissed since the girl who sued him did not attend at her hearing. A lot of people sympathised with Tamia and encouraged actress Sonia Mbele not protect her kid from the law.
