Exotic dancer and entertainer Zodwa Wabantu is reportedly being sought by police in connection with a violent incident that took place last weekend at KwaKhehla Tavern in Delmas, Mpumalanga. The alleged altercation involved Wabantu and social media personality Tebogo Makgoba, known online as Afrodolllight, who claims she was assaulted during the encounter.
Assault Allegations and Damage to Property
Afrodolllight took to Instagram to share her traumatic experience, claiming that she was physically attacked by Zodwa Wabantu at the tavern. According to Afrodolllight’s post, she was unaware of the reasons behind the assault: “I was attacked by @zodwalibram in Delmas for what, I don’t know. I’m so traumatised. She broke my braces and cellphone. I’m so defeated. Zodwa is too old guys,” she wrote.
Following the incident, it has been reported that Wabantu is now a wanted person in Mpumalanga. A source close to the investigation revealed that members of the South African Police Service (SAPS) are actively searching for Wabantu, who is reportedly on the run. The police have opened a case of assault and malicious damage to property, with Capt. Makhosini Nkosi, a police spokesperson, confirming the investigation. However, Nkosi stated that the suspect’s name cannot be disclosed until an arrest is made.

Despite efforts to reach Zodwa Wabantu for comment, attempts to contact her were unsuccessful, as her phone went unanswered. As of now, the police have not named any suspects publicly, although the investigation is ongoing.
