Jacob and his brother were taken from their home by Makhubele, the operator of the rehab centre. Their mother was convinced they needed help, especially after being told that the boys were causing trouble. Trusting Makhubele, she even paid R2,000 for their rehabilitation. Reports reveal that instead of receiving care and guidance, Jacob and his brother suffered abuse. Shockingly, Makhubele allegedly assaulted both boys in front of their mother before taking them to the rehab centre.
