A 10-year-old girl is recovering in hospital following a violent pit bull attack in Galeshewe earlier this week, an incident that has sparked public outrage and opened a criminal investigation.
The attack occurred on Tuesday evening on Phutane Street, when the child was reportedly playing outside with other children. According to police reports, the pit bull broke free and viciously mauled the girl, leaving her with severe injuries to her face and head.
